UniWide - UNSW Wireless Network UniWide is the UNSW Campus Wireless Network for UNSW students and staff. It offers fast, secure wireless network connectivity from a wide range of locations across UNSW’s campuses. Wireless access is available to all current staff and students and guest access for visitors can be arranged by contacting the IT Service Desk. UniWide can be accessed via any WiFi-enabled laptop or mobile device that supports WPA wireless security. For more information visit the About UniWide page. UniWide Setup Instructions VPN software is no longer needed to authenticate your connection to UniWide and can no longer be used for this task. UniWide Coverage View wireless coverage maps of Kensington and COFA campuses plus a list of internal wireless hotspots on Kensington campus. » View UniWide Coverage Details Acceptable use - UniWide Access to the UniWide wireless network is currently provided free of charge to all users. However, UniWide is a shared resource with limited bandwidth. Users are strongly discouraged from running bandwidth intensive applications. UniWide should not be considered a replacement to a wired network connection. All activity on the wireless network is monitored and users are expected to abide by all relevant UNSW policies.
